Michael P. Kincade

Director of Diversity Recruitment, Center for Alzheimer Research and Treatment, Brigham and Women's Hospital

Michael joined the Center For Alzheimer Research and Treatment (CART) Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement team (ORE) in 2019 and is currently the Director of Diversity Recruitment for The Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease  Research Center (MADRC). Together, using creative programming and outreach events, the Team is working to educate and recruit those underrepresented in Alzheimer’s research.

Michael has been able to utilize community relationships to further the mission of CART. Together with the ORE Core, they have implemented programs such as Memory Sunday, which, in conjunction with local Black Churches, raises Alzheimer’s awareness. He has also helped expand CART’s community footprint through collaborations with local nonprofits such as Union Capital Boston, Central Boston Elder Services, and a wide network of Boston Senior Community Centers and neighborhood apartment complexes.

In his spare time he is working on a compilation of short stories and poems and hopes one day to not get published.
