Kirsten Glennon, RN, CNRN

Kirsten Glennon joined the Center for Alzheimer Research and Treatment as a research nurse in 2016. She works with the CART team to ensure that the research participants’ rights, safety, and well-being are always protected. She administers study medications, collects blood samples, checks lab work, and monitors patient’s health, reviews and reports adverse events and/or treatment toxicities.

Kirsten graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in Psychology in 2002 and went on to participate in the AmeriCorps program volunteering with the American Red Cross. Inspired by the work of the Red Cross she pursued a career in nursing, graduating from Simmons College with a BSN in 2008. From 2008-2016 Kirsten worked as a staff nurse on Neuroscience ICUs at Tufts Medical Center and Mass General before transitioning to research. Outside of CART Kirsten enjoys gardening, hiking, and skiing.
